This blog follows the assembly of an all aluminium Van's RV-8A aerobatic 2 place aircraft kit. When completed, the aircraft is inspected by the 'Light Aircraft Association's' approved inspectors and when satisfactory is granted a permit to fly. Aircraft kit no. is #80697

QB Wing (Left) Flap Brace (II)

This image illustrates the lower inboard wing trailing edge and the Flap Brace clecoed to the rear spar in it's relaxed state.

Note: the misalignment is approx 1/4" on an inch at the root end.
