This blog follows the assembly of an all aluminium Van's RV-8A aerobatic 2 place aircraft kit. When completed, the aircraft is inspected by the 'Light Aircraft Association's' approved inspectors and when satisfactory is granted a permit to fly. Aircraft kit no. is #80697

My name is David Richard. I'm about to waste a lot of money and build a kit aircraft from my home in the UK.

It may look as if I'm going to shoot myself with the rivet gun, and perhaps I will but for now I'll direct it towards the rudder to which I'm currently working on.
