The right elevator skin is just a little more rigid than the left skin because it does not have the trim cut out.
To enable me to dimple close to the trailing edge I used the large roll of tissue which I kept pushed against the opp. skin using my left arm. This avoided any dents occurring.
Similar procedure to that of the Rudder. Back drilling the stiffner to the Left Elevator skin. This is a time consuming and also mistake prone process if not totally concentrating.
