This blog follows the assembly of an all aluminium Van's RV-8A aerobatic 2 place aircraft kit. When completed, the aircraft is inspected by the 'Light Aircraft Association's' approved inspectors and when satisfactory is granted a permit to fly. Aircraft kit no. is #80697

No turning back now! It would be a shame to restart but if I cock it up, I would. Key points: don't rush, check and check again it's the correct stiffener and position.
